First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a leader who has demonstrated strength, loyalty, commitment and love for Nigeria.
The First Lady, in a birthday message to mark Shettima’s Diamond Jubilee, joined his wife, Hajia Nana Shettima, family members and friends in celebrating the milestone.
She commended Shettima for his service to the country as Vice President, noting that he had exemplified strength, loyalty, commitment and patriotism in his role.

The First Lady also highlighted Shettima’s previous public and professional engagements, celebrating his achievements as former Governor of Borno State, former Senator and an accomplished banker.
“I celebrate your achievements as former Governor of Borno State, a former distinguished Senator and an accomplished Banker,” she said.
Mrs Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to bless the Vice President with divine health, peace, joy and happiness as he marks the significant milestone.
Shettima, who was born on September 2, 1966, served as Governor of Borno State from 2011 to 2019 and represented Borno Central in the Senate before becoming Vice President in 2023.
