Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (29) to provide evidence via video conference in a case concerning the disappearance of Lalith Kumar Weeraraj and Kugan Muruganandan. Sri Lanka Latest News
The case is being heard before the Jaffna Magistrate’s Court, and Rajapaksa appeared at the Colombo Magistrate’s Court to give evidence remotely.
The Jaffna Magistrate’s Court had previously ordered former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to provide evidence via video conference on September 29.
The case relates to the disappearance of Lalith Kumar Weeraraj and Kugan Muruganandan in 2011. At the time of their disappearance, Gotabaya Rajapaksa was serving as the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence.
