Chief Chukwudi Onuorah is a Nigerian businessman based in Lagos State. He is popularly known as Model and has been identified in entertainment reports as a native of Eke, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Although he has largely maintained a private profile, his name has become increasingly familiar following reports linking him romantically with actress Rachael Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka.

Unlike many men who become popular through their association with celebrities, Onuorah’s public identity is primarily connected to his reported business activities. However, detailed information about his personal life and professional journey remains limited.

His background has also attracted attention because several reports describe him as a wealthy businessman and billionaire.

The Businessman Known As Model

Chief Chukwudi Onuorah is reportedly involved in business in Lagos. He is primarily a high-profile currency exchange dealer and real estate investor. He has built a massive business empire in Lagos, earning him the title of an “Igbo billionaire”.

His core business operations reportedly span two major industries:
Foreign Exchange (Bureau De Change): He is widely recognized as the “Czar of Model BDC.” He reportedly owns and operates a major Bureau De Change (BDC) firm, which deals in large-scale currency exchange services.
Real Estate Development: Alongside his foreign exchange empire, he invests heavily in property development, commercial real estate, and land acquisition across major commercial hubs in Nigeria.

His Enugu Roots

Despite being based in Lagos, Chukwudi Onuorah is reportedly from Eke, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State and holds the traditional titles Ebubechukwu Uzor 1 of Eke and Orimili na Eke.

His Enugu background is an interesting connection to Rachael, who also has strong roots in the state. The actress’s family home in Nsukka would later become the reported location of an important traditional marriage ceremony involving both families.

His Previous Marriage And Family

Before his reported relationship with Rachael became a subject of public discussion, Onuorah was reportedly married to a woman identified as Chioma Onuorah.

Reports describe him as a widower and claim that the marriage produced five children, reportedly four daughters and a son. However, details about his late wife’s life, their marriage and the circumstances surrounding her reported death are limited.

There have also been reports linking the businessman to another woman, identified as Adaugo, with whom he allegedly has a 4-month-old son. These claims were circulated by blogger SDK. The reports also claim they separated due to genotype issues.

The story of Onuorah and Rachael reportedly goes further back than the recent marriage speculation. Reports claim the pair had known each other for years before their relationship reportedly became romantic.

It claimed that Rachael previously regarded Onuorah as a “brother” while he was married and allegedly declined his advances at the time. It added that their relationship took a different direction after he became single.

By October 2026, speculation about Rachael’s relationship status had started attracting attention across social media. On October 13, there were claims that the actress and Onuorah had taken an important step towards marriage.

According reports online, an Iku Aka ceremony, also known as the traditional knocking or introduction ceremony, had taken place at Rachael’s family home in Nsukka, Enugu State, on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The report claimed that members of Onuorah’s family, including his mother and other relatives, visited the actress’s family to formally express their son’s intention to marry her.

In Igbo tradition, Iku Aka is an important stage in the marriage process. It involves the prospective groom’s family approaching the bride’s family to declare their interest in the union.

It is usually followed by further family discussions and other traditional marriage rites before the main ceremony.
The reported October 11 gathering therefore suggested that the relationship had moved beyond ordinary dating, although neither family had publicly provided a detailed confirmation of the proceedings.

In the post, she described herself as a blessed woman and wrote: “Having God is my biggest flex.”

She also spoke about knowing her value and being patient with her journey, adding that she was becoming everything God had called her to be. The message attracted attention because it came shortly after reports emerged that she was preparing to marry Onuorah.

The following day, October 20, Rachael was spotted with the businessman in videos circulating online. In one of the clips, they were seen sharing a toast with glasses of wine, while another showed them together at a social gathering. Their public appearances added to the growing speculation about their relationship.
