Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has been strongly linked with a transfer to former Dutch Eredivisie champions, Soccernet.ng reports.
The transfer window in most top European leagues have closed, but there are still a few that are open. One of such is the Dutch Eredivisie which closes by 11:59 PM tonight.
As usual, this will be the period when teams will be moving in a haste to get in signings and clog all the holes in their team. And that is why Feyenoord are weighing up a transfer for Boniface.
The Super Eagles star just returned to Bayer Leverkusen this summer after a terrible 2025/26 campaign that was blighted by a knee injury. Unfortunately for him, things don't look good for him at Leverkusen.
New coach Carles Martinez does not see him as a key player, as he appears to be behind Patrik Schick and Christian Kofane in the pecking order.
He has previously be linked with Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga 2. But he can no longer move there since the window is closed. Now, with just four hours until the Dutch window closes, Boniface is an option that Feyenoord are exploring.
Victor Boniface is a top talent. But the issue with him has been the injuries. At Werder Bremen, the coached admitted that his quality was clearly higher than his teammates. But injuries reduced his minutes badly.
