What will Mozambique’s digital economy look like in the coming years? Vodacom aims to answer this question at FACIM 2026 through interactive experiences, technology demonstrations and discussions showing how next-generation connectivity can transform the way we live, work and do business.
Over the seven days of the fair, 5G will be the main highlight at the Vodacom stand. The mobile connectivity technology is opening the way to new opportunities for economic development and digital transformation in Mozambique. Through practical demonstrations, interactive experiences and knowledge-sharing, visitors will be able to discover how the technology can boost productivity, drive innovation and accelerate digital inclusion. Rather than simply showcasing technology, the company will demonstrate how it can address real-world challenges, support business growth and facilitate access to new economic opportunities.

The programme includes sessions focused on digital lifestyles, financial solutions through M-Pesa, success stories from small and medium-sized enterprises, the digital transformation of organisations, as well as activities specially designed for premium customers and moments celebrating the customers who are part of the brand’s everyday life.
Each of these experiences has been designed to demonstrate, in an accessible and practical way, the impact of next-generation technologies on social and economic development. From real-time collaboration between teams and organisations to the intelligent management of business operations, as well as digital payments and innovative solutions for consumers and businesses, visitors will be able to understand how 5G creates the conditions for a more dynamic, intelligent and connected economy.
“The true value of technology lies not in the technology itself, but in what it enables us to achieve. 5G is paving the way for new ways of working, doing business, innovating and creating impact. At FACIM, we want to make this potential tangible through experiences that allow people to discover how next-generation connectivity can accelerate development and create new opportunities for Mozambique,” said Simon Karikari, CEO of Vodacom Mozambique.
Vodacom will also have an M-Pesa Shop and M-Pesa Agents at the fair, where visitors will be able to purchase products, subscribe to services and carry out financial transactions. Exclusive promotions, prizes, giveaways and mobile phone offers will also be available exclusively during FACIM.
Under the theme “Digital and Energy Transformation: Towards a Sustainable Economy”, FACIM 2026 brings together companies, investors and public and private institutions to discuss the future of Mozambique’s economic development. Vodacom’s participation reflects its long-term vision for the country: to contribute to building a more connected and inclusive society that is prepared to compete in an increasingly digital economy.
More than presenting products and services, Vodacom will bring to FACIM a tangible vision of Mozambique’s digital future. Through demonstrations, interactive experiences and innovative solutions, visitors will be able to discover how next-generation technologies are transforming the way people live, work and do business, contributing to a more inclusive and productive society that is better prepared for the challenges of the future.
