The Luckiest Launches Season 4, Doubles Ultimate Prize Multiplier
The Luckiest Seasonal Draw has launched its fourth season with the multiplier on its flagship Ultimate Draw doubled from 500 to 1,000 alongside new reward schemes aimed at expanding benefits to participants and communities.
The 2026 edition, which runs from September 22 to December 19, 2026, was launched in Accra yesterday by GeniusLoci Limited, organisers of The Luckiest, under the regulation of the National Lottery Authority (NLA).
Mr. Dennis Adutwum, CEO of The Luckiest addressing the media
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Luckiest, Mr Dennis Adutwum, said the increase in the multiplier was one of the major changes introduced for the new season, which he said would be different from the previous one.
Explaining the new arrangement, Mr Adutwum said last year’s 500-times multiplier meant that a participant who bought the full GH¢5,000 value of the winning ticket could receive GH¢2.5 million.
“Last year, the multiplier was 500. That’s why you saw those who won on the Luckiest Ticket holding the GH¢2.5 million, because the value on the ticket is 5,000.
“So as people keep buying on that ticket, if the ticket is exhausted, you multiply the 5,000 by 500 and the amount to give away is 2.5 million.”
He said the multiplier had now been increased to 1,000 for the 2026 season.
“This year, what is significant is the jump from 500 on the Luckiest Ticket to 1,000 Ghana Cedis as a multiplier, so that if you bought even one cedi on the Luckiest Ticket, you get 1,000 cedis coming on your phone.”
According to him, participants can purchase tickets from GH¢1 to GH¢5,000 with the Ultimate Draw ticket earning 1,000 times the amount purchased.
Mr Adutwum said the game had also been expanded with a number of additional reward schemes, including the Luckiest Gift Promo, Community Draw and Bonus Draw.
Under the Luckiest Gift Promo, participants who cumulatively purchase tickets worth GH¢100 will qualify for a guaranteed gift.
The rewards include rent advance, television sets, restaurant vouchers and other items. Mr Adutwum said the gifts would be randomly assigned, meaning that purchasing GH¢100 would not guarantee a particular reward.
He said the company was targeting more than 500,000 people with different rewards during the 2026 season.
Mr Adutwum explained that The Luckiest had 100 communities or groupings, with 1,000 unique tickets allocated to each community, bringing the total number of tickets in the game to 100,000.
The communities include professional and social groups such as journalists, chief executives, nurses, tailors, barbers and golfers.
He said participants could purchase portions of a ticket from as little as GH¢1 and share the ticket with friends and family.
The Community Draw will see four communities randomly selected from the 100 communities on the night of the main draw. The first selected community will receive 10 times the amount purchased on each ticket, while the second, third and fourth communities will receive seven, five and three times the respective amounts purchased.
Three additional tickets will be selected under the Bonus Draw, with participants who bought portions of the winning tickets receiving 100 times the amount purchased.
The main draw is scheduled for December 19, 2026, the last Saturday before Christmas. Mr Adutwum also said the company had introduced measures to promote responsible participation.
He explained that customers attempting to purchase the full GH¢5,000 value of a ticket at once could be contacted by the customer service team to confirm the transaction.
CSR commitment
Meanwhile, the CSR Lead of The Luckiest, Ms Angela Bamford, announced a new CSR agenda focused on moving the company’s interventions beyond one-off donations to longer-term community projects.
She said the company was working towards a goal of ensuring that 50 per cent of everything The Luckiest makes goes back to stakeholders, including the communities it serves.
“That means 50 per cent of everything we make is coming back to you. It’s a standard that we are working towards, not as a one-off gesture, but as a lasting commitment.”
Ms Bamford said the CSR programme would focus on education, sanitation, public health, agriculture, vocational training, emergency services and student mobility.
A major component is the La Ranga Community Learning and Empowerment Centre in the Savannah Region, outside Tamale and Damongo.
She said the centre would be solar-powered and equipped with internet connectivity, computer desks and running water, as well as a prayer room for the predominantly Muslim community. She also announced a university scholarship programme covering tuition and accommodation.
Ms Bamford said the La Ranga centre would be unveiled in early December and urged stakeholders, particularly the media, to monitor the implementation of the company’s commitments.
