Ampem Darkoa Ladies will look to maintain their perfect record at the WAFU B Womens Champions League qualifiers when they face FC Dynamique in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian champions reached the last four after finishing top of Group B with nine points, while FC Dynamique advanced from Group A despite failing to win or score in the group stage.
Ampem Darkoa are the only team remaining in the competition to have won all of their matches. They have scored seven goals and conceded just one, establishing themselves as the leading contenders for a place in the final.
Their run began with a 1-0 victory over defending champions ASEC Mimosas. They then produced their most emphatic result of the tournament by beating AS GNN 4-0, before recovering from a goal down to defeat Nigerias Edo Queens 2-1 in their final group fixture on Sunday.
That comeback secured first place in the section and maintained the Ghanaian sides 100% record heading into the semi-final.
Several players have played important roles in Ampem Darkoas progress. Milot Abena Pokuaa, captain Nancy Amoh, Patricia Adjei, experienced forward Priscilla Okyere and Gloria Adomako, who scored the clubs first goal of the tournament, have been among the teams leading performers.
Their opponents have had a contrasting route to the semi-finals. FC Dynamique collected only one point in Group A after losing 3-0 to USFA and drawing 0-0 with Togolese club ASKO. They are yet to find the net in the competition.
Ampem Darkoa will therefore start the match as favourites, with their unbeaten record and attacking form offering a sharp contrast to FC Dynamiques difficult group campaign.
The semi-final will be played at the August 4 Stadium in Ouagadougou on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The winners will advance to the final, where they will meet either Burkina Faso champions USFA or Edo Queens of Nigeria.
Ampem Darkoas performance in the group stage has placed them in a strong position as they pursue a place in the final, but they must overcome a FC Dynamique side that will hope to produce an upset despite its lack of goals and victories so far.
The match is part of the WAFU B Womens Champions League qualifiers, with the eventual finalists continuing their challenge for regional honours.
