On Saturday, September 19th, 2026, the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra will come alive for a night of glitz, glamour and non-stop boxing action! OBRA Sports presents: Osagyefo Fight Night, a world class professional boxing event in Accra, that celebrates the enduring legacy of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Ghana’s elite boxers will battle it out in the ring for Glory on Osagyefo Fight Night. The main card includes rising stars like Theophilus "Lopez" Allotey (WBA Africa Champion & WBO World Global champion), Michael "Mayweather", Decardi Nelson, Jerry “Wonderboy” Klutei-Robertson, Samuel “Ring Warrior” Takyi, Moro Kanla (Ghana Army) and Abdul Baki Adamou.

At the heart of the evening will be one of the biggest fights of the year. Ghana's unbeaten Champion, Theophilus “Lopez” Allotey will face Argentina's Facundo David Garcia in a WBA Super Flyweight final eliminator. This bout has a lot at stake. For Allotey, victory could put him in position for a world championship opportunity and take his already impressive career to another level. The 24-year-old Wisdom Boxing Gym product has enjoyed a remarkable rise since turning professional, capturing five titles and breaking into the international rankings.

For Allotey, this is not simply another defence of his unbeaten record. A win will put him on the verge of greatness, and will pave the way for him to join the ranks of Ghana’s Legendary World Champions.

Another major fight on the card features Samuel “Ring Warrior Takyi” against Steve Bagwasi from Botswana. Samuel Takyi, had a brilliant amateur career, winning bronze at the 2020 Olympic games and winning gold at the African games in 2023 . Since turning pro, he has never lost a bout with a perfect 8-0-0 record with 8 KO’s. Only one thing remains, for Samuel Takyi to cement his position as a Superstar in Ghana Boxing. Both Theophilus Allotey and Samuel Takyi are signed to Legacy Rise Sports, which hope to power their journey to the world stage.
