The 19-year-old defender has signed with the Spanish club until 30 June 2028. Sambos move was completed on 29 August 2026, following his spell with UB Conquense B.
Born in Accra, Sambo is a right-footed central defender who stands 1.86m tall. He joined UB Conquense B on 1 March 2026 after leaving African Talent, before making the step up to the clubs senior group later that year.
His promotion gives UB Conquense another defensive option as the club prepares for competition in Segunda Federacion - Group V. Sambos previous experience in the organisation means the change represents a progression within the same club rather than a move to a new team.
Sambos arrival at African Talents former destination marked his first recorded spell in Spain. After spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with the reserve side, he now moves into the senior set-up at a club competing at a higher level.
The defenders profile adds a physically imposing presence to the squad, with his height and preferred position pointing to a role at the heart of the defence. His contract provides a defined period at UB Conquense through the end of June 2028.
