Amal Clooney shines in gold as Hollywood stars gather for the Albie Awards

Amal Clooney shimmered in a gold Gucci gown and Brad Pitt made a rare public appearance with his girlfriend at the fifth annual Albie awards. ‘
The human-rights lawyer wore a glittering off-the-shoulder gown as she arrived hand-in-hand with husband George at the event at the Natural History Museum in London on Friday night.
Stars arrived in droves at the awards ceremony created by the Clooneys to “shine a protective spotlight on courageous justice defenders who are at risk, sending a message to those who abuse human rights that the world is watching”.

The Albies are named after anti-apartheid hero Justice Albie Sachs, who received a lifetime achievement award at the charity’s inaugural fundraiser in 2022, according to the Clooney Foundation for Justice website.
Other stars in attendance included Hugh Bonneville, Richard Kind, Laura Dern and Isla Fisher.
Emma Thompson, 67, stepped out with her daughter Gaia Wise.
In a statement ahead of the awards, the Clooneys said: “This year’s Albie honourees embody the values at the heart of our foundation.
“Through these awards, we want them, and everyone advocating for justice around the globe, to know that the world is watching and that they are not alone.”
Among those honoured were Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy, Malawian women’s rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala and American photojournalist Lynsey Addario.
