Everestview Development has launched Montania Gate, its latest mixed-use development in Sheikh Zayed City, West Cairo.
Mohamed Samir El Shennawy, Chairperson of Everestview Development, said the launch is part of the company’s strategy to expand its portfolio in West Cairo. He noted that the company, which was established in 2004, entered the West Cairo market in 2021 and has since developed four projects in the area.
Two of the company’s West Cairo projects have been delivered, while construction is currently underway on its third project, Montania Gardens.
Montania Gate is being developed on 60,000 sqm in Sheikh Zayed, adjacent to Emaar’s Cairo Gate and opposite Carrefour Dandy Mall and Smart Village.
According to El Shennawy, the project is planned as a mixed-use development comprising residential, commercial, administrative, hospitality and medical components.
The development has brought together a number of specialised partners. Raef Fahmy is handling the design of the commercial component, while ACE Moharram.Bakhoum is also involved in the project’s design. KAD Commercial Property Management will manage the commercial components, while Vodafone is serving as the technology partner. Dreams and HSG are also involved in consulting and design.
El Shennawy noted that Everestview’s expansion is supported by its financial position and experience in the Egyptian market. The company has developed more than 10 projects across different Egyptian cities.
The developer is also evaluating opportunities to expand beyond West Cairo, including a potential tourism project on the North Coast.
Walid Salah, Chief Commercial Officer at Everestview Development, said Montania Gate is designed to provide direct vehicle access to and from the parking garage, allowing a larger portion of the development to be allocated to landscaped areas.
The project includes residential units, an 8,000-square-metre commercial mall, a clubhouse, padel courts, a running track, a mosque and a service area with cafés and restaurants.
Residential units range from 60 to 260 sqm and include studios, apartments, duplexes and penthouses. The residential buildings comprise a basement, ground floor and four upper floors, in addition to service floors. Everestview is targeting an initial delivery timeline of 3.5 years for the residential units.
Mohamed El-Gazzar, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at Everestview Development, said the project reflects the company’s focus on developing mixed-use communities that combine residential and commercial components with supporting services.
