MySol Responds to Malema With ‘One Bar of Energy’ Remark Amid Public Feud

Businessman Malcolm “MySol” X has reportedly hit back at Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema following the politician’s verbal attack at a campaign rally in Madibeng, North West.

The exchange between the two South Africans has sparked reactions on social media, with MySol appearing to respond to Malema’s criticism through a remark suggesting that the EFF leader had limited energy left.

In a message circulating online, the businessman reportedly said Malema had “just one bar of energy”, a comment that many social media users interpreted as a direct response to the politician’s earlier remarks.

The disagreement follows Malema’s address to supporters in Madibeng, where he called for South Africa’s mineral wealth to benefit ordinary citizens and local communities rather than being concentrated in the hands of wealthy individuals.

During the rally, the EFF leader criticised the influence of rich businesspeople in the mining industry and argued that communities should have a greater stake in the country’s natural resources.

Malema also took a direct swipe at MySol, referring to him as a “small boy” while insisting that he was not intimidated by wealthy individuals who might believe their financial status placed them beyond criticism.

His comments reflected the EFF’s broader political position on economic transformation and its longstanding calls for the country’s mineral resources to benefit more South Africans.

The disagreement reportedly began after MySol appeared on MacG’s Podcast and Chill, where he allegedly dismissed Malema and suggested that he had no time for the EFF leader.

Malema subsequently addressed the businessman during the Madibeng rally, with his comments drawing attention from supporters and social media users.

MySol’s reported response has now added another chapter to the public disagreement, with both personalities becoming the subject of widespread online discussion.

The exchange has also divided social media users, with some supporting Malema’s argument that local communities should benefit more directly from mining activities.

Others have defended MySol, pointing to the role of private businesses in creating employment, supporting economic activity and contributing to society.

Beyond the personal exchanges, the disagreement has reignited conversations about economic inequality, political influence and the distribution of South Africa’s mineral wealth.

Malema has consistently argued that the country’s natural resources should play a greater role in improving the lives of ordinary citizens, particularly communities affected by mining operations.

Meanwhile, the reactions to MySol’s reported comments have highlighted differing opinions about the responsibilities of wealthy individuals and the relationship between business interests and political leadership.

However, the full context of MySol’s response remains unclear, and the reported statement should be understood within the ongoing public disagreement between the two men.

Importantly, the phrase “just one bar of energy” is the specific remark attributed to MySol in the account provided. There is no independently established evidence in the supplied information to support claims that he predicted Malema’s death.

For now, the exchange continues to generate debate online, with attention likely to remain on whether either man makes further public comments.
