Zambian international striker Gamphani Lungu on Saturday scored a goal when his South African club Orlando Pirates secured their spot in the final of the MTN8 with a 3-0 victory in the semifinal showdown against Sekhukhune United at Orlando Amstel Arena.
Lungu scored Pirates’ second goal after beating his compatriot Toaster Nsabata in the Sekhukhune goal in the 39th minute.

Mbuthuma collected a pass from Appollis before calmly setting up Lungu.
”That was an incredible way to reach the MTN 8 finals! I’m really humbled to have scored again. We’ll keep working diligently and are excited for the next match,” Lungu reacted after the match.
He played 82 minutes before being replaced by Mpho Padime.
Lungu is one of the players widely expected to be called by Zambia coach George Lwandamina for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Algeria and Togo.
He has been enjoying good scoring form after his big move from Siwelele FC to Pirates last June.
Meanwhile, Lungu and the Buccaneers made history by becoming the first-ever club to reach the final of the competition on five consecutive occasions.
They did so by completing a 4-0 aggregate win over Babina Noko, after the 1-0 triumph in the opening leg gave them a slight advantage.
Pirates now await the winner of the tie between Mamelodi Sundowns and Lamontville Golden Arrows, with the second of the two remaining berths set to be decided on Sunday afternoon.
