Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary have recently fuelled widespread split rumours.

And the status of the romance between the engaged MasterChef Australia couple has remained mysterious, with Sarah throwing a spanner in the works this week.

Todd, 38, has been seen without her engagement ring in recent weeks, but has now resumed wearing the diamond accessory.

In a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Sarah’s sparkler was visible in a cooking video.

As she prepared a fish burger recipe for her fans, it could be seen sitting back on her ring finger.

Mystery abounds as Sarah recently unfollowed Declan on social media – and has not followed him again despite wearing his ring.

The pair also have not appeared in one another’s social media posts in some time.

Earlier this month, the ring was missing in a video where Todd was promoting Delhi’s iconic Kuremal Kulfi treats during a recent trip to India.

She energetically gestured to the fruit with her hands, clearly showing that she was not wearing the ring.

Last month, insiders spoke out about recent split rumours circulating about the couple.

Their sudden distancing online led many to speculate whether the couple had split, but some sources say the rumours are not true, according to New Idea.

The two have shared very few pictures together since their European holiday in September 2025.

Sarah also failed to interact with the Father’s Day post Declan shared, which was his first since welcoming their twin daughters Claudia and Charlotte.

Declan has told friends he and Sarah have ‘definitely not’ separated, insiders told the publication.

‘Their lives might look separate from the outside, but behind closed doors they are very much together,’ the source said.

‘They are making plans, looking for a home and building their future as a family. There is no split.

‘They have just realised that not every part of their relationship needs to be shared on social media.’

The insider went on to claim the pair have made a ‘conscious decision to pull back’ on social media, and in how they interact with each other online.

The fan favourites met while filming MasterChef: Back to Win in 2024 and went public with their romance early in 2025.

Queenslander Sarah moved to Melbourne to be with Declan after their whirlwind romance.

The couple welcomed their twin daughters to the world on Christmas Eve.

Sarah also shares a 15-year-old son with her ex-fiancé, Devinder Garcha.
