GettyBryan Nicholson1 minute agoThe Premier League is back and we are in for an intriguing weekend in the wake of the first international break of its kind in recent times. Three weeks and four international fixtures later, players have returned to their clubs, raring to go.

Some are back in better shape than others, though, and Liverpool, in particular, have been hit by several injuries before what is arguably the biggest game of the Premier League calendar so far this season. The Reds take on Premier League leaders Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday in the standout fixture of the week.

That game features among our Premier League betting tips for this weekend, while punters can also find the latest Premier League betting odds for all 10 fixtures and the best football offer from betting sites.

Our Premier League predictions focus on four games this week. Bettors interested in combining the tips will find the fourfold pays just over 17/1 on football betting sites.

The Gunners have had to wait a while to avenge their 3-0 defeat to Brighton last time out and a home game against Leeds looks like a nice opportunity to do just that. Leeds have started well in the campaign but have only scored twice in two away Premier League games so far, one each at Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal have won both their home games, conceding just the one goal in the process in a 2-1 victory over Chelsea. The Gunners won both fixtures against Leeds last season to nil, including a 5-0 win when the sides met in north London.

Tip: Arsenal to win to nil – 6/5 (William Hill)

The second of our Premier League betting tips comes from Villa Park and it is the away side that are of interest here. Keith Andrews’ men crushed Chelsea in their last game before the extended international break and could emerge as the surprise package this season, with the Bees a best-price of 4/1 for a top four finish on betting apps.

Importantly, last year’s top scorer Igor Thiago got off the mark against Chelsea and the Bees’ hitman will be looking to keep the form going against Villa.

Unai Emery’s men had endured a slow start to the season before a 3-2 away win at Tottenham bagged them their first win of the campaign. Villa, though, have lost both their home league fixtures, conceding three goals in the process.

Tip: Igor Thiago anytime goalscorer – 6/4 (Coral)

The next of our weekend football betting tips comes from Old Trafford, where both Tottenham and Man Utd will be looking for a much-needed win. Spurs are bottom of the table without a victory, while Michael Carrick’s men are also languishing in the bottom half.

Goals could be on the cards in this one if we go by the Premier League betting odds. United have scored eight and conceded eight league goals so far, while Spurs’ leaky defence has been breached eight times as well.

Both teams will look to go forward to try and pick up all three points, potentially leaving gaps at the back for the likes of Bruno Fernandes and James Maddison to exploit with their passing range. Striker Dominic Solanke is continuing to build match fitness for the away side, who need a finisher amongst their ranks.

One of the best football bets this weekend in terms of value potential comes from the big Super Sunday clash at Anfield. With Jeremy Jacquet set to miss out through injury, the Liverpool defence could once again be vulnerable.

Ronald Araujo will likely partner Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence, meaning Jeremy Frimpong and Milos Kerkez will possibly leave gaps for Man City to exploit down the flanks, and they can try and feed the big man, Erling Haaland, in the box. The Norwegian was subbed in his last international fixture against Portugal, but it is reported to be more a case of fatigue.

Haaland should lead the line for the away side at Anfield and will get chances to add to the five Premier League goals already accumulated, which have propelled him to the top of the goalscorer charts.

Tip: Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer 13/10 (Ladbrokes)

If using decimals simply multiply the odds from all selections together to get the total odds on the acca.
