Bandits Attack Kaduna Village, Kill 2, Abduct 21 Others

Bandits terrorising parts of Kaduna have invaded Akwando village in Kuturmi land, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing two persons and abducting 21 others in a fresh attack. The attack reportedly occurred on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, when locals were sleeping in their respective homes. This unfortunate development has further heightened concerns over the worsening security situation in the state. Neither the Kaduna State Police Command nor the Ministry for Internal Security and Home Affairs have made any public statements on the development as of the time of filing this report. But a credible source who spoke in confidence confirmed the incident, saying, “Kidnappers entered Akwando village, Kuturmi land in kachia LGA Kaduna state, 12 a.m., 4/11/2026, killed 2 and kidnapped 21 persons. “Members of the affected community are still apprehensive over the incidents. As we speak, the bandits have not made any demand.”
