De Graafschap technical manager Berry Powel believes Paul Reverson's qualities make him a good fit for the club after the Ghanaian goalkeeper joined on loan from Ajax.The 21-year-old has signed for the season, with De Graafschap securing an option to make the move permanent.Reverson spent part of his development at Ajax and featured for Jong Ajax last season, including an appearance at De Graafschap's De Vijverberg.Powel believes the goalkeeper's ability with the ball at his feet, combined with his reflexes, will suit the club's playing style.We are happy that we can add Paul to our goalkeeping team. With his footballing qualities, he fits well with our style of play and, in addition, he has strong reflexes, Powel said.Reverson's arrival provides De Graafschap with another option in goal as the club prepares for the new season.The goalkeeper had also been included in Ghana's initial 28-man provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup before being omitted from the final 26-man squad.He will now look to use his season in the Netherlands to gain regular playing experience and strengthen his claim for future opportunities with Ghana.
