Mozambique’s Secretary of State for Trade, António Grispos, said on Friday that the grounds of the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM), in Ricatla, Marracuene district, Maputo province, are 95% ready to host the 61st edition of the fair, which opens this Monday.
Grispos was speaking while monitoring the installation of infrastructure for exhibitors and other participants at the fair. He said the work was being carried out in line with the guidelines set by President Daniel Chapo, with the aim of ensuring that there are no last-minute works or any need for adjustments to the infrastructure during FACIM.
“In terms of the work, we only have basic things left, such as painting and installing toilets, and we believe that by Saturday we will have completed the activities 100%, and on Sunday we will check that everything is in perfect condition to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors,” Grispos concluded.
