Primate Ayodele: “No Politician, Not Atiku, Not Obi, Not Tinubu Has Ever Given Me 1 Dollar, 1 Naira
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has stated that he has never received money from any of Nigeria’s prominent politicians, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and President Bola Tinubu.
Ayodele made the clarification while speaking about his political prophecies and the perception that politicians may have influenced his comments or predictions concerning the country’s political developments.
The cleric said his pronouncements are not motivated by financial relationships with politicians, insisting that none of the political figures he mentioned had ever given him money.
According to him, his relationship with politicians should not be interpreted as evidence that he receives financial benefits from them.
Ayodele said, “No politician, not Atiku, not Obi, not Tinubu has ever given me 1 dollar, 1 naira.”
The statement comes amid increasing political activities ahead of the 2027 general election, with several political figures and groups already making moves to position themselves for the contest.
Atiku, Obi and Tinubu are among the prominent names associated with Nigeria’s current political discourse, although their respective political positions and plans for the 2027 election continue to attract public attention and debate.
Ayodele has frequently spoken about political developments in Nigeria, offering predictions and advice concerning politicians, political parties and the country’s electoral future.
His pronouncements have sometimes generated reactions from supporters and critics, particularly when they concern prominent political figures or possible developments ahead of elections.
By stressing that he has not received money from politicians, the cleric appeared to draw a distinction between his prophetic activities and political interests.
He maintained that his statements should be understood as messages based on what he believes he has received spiritually rather than comments influenced by financial considerations.
The 2027 general election is expected to generate intense political competition, with parties and politicians working to build alliances and strengthen their structures across the country.
The election is also expected to bring increased scrutiny of public figures who make political predictions or offer assessments of the prospects of various candidates.
Ayodele’s latest statement therefore provides his response to any suggestion that his political pronouncements are financially motivated.
The cleric reiterated that he has no financial arrangement with Atiku, Obi or Tinubu and insisted that none of the three politicians had ever given him even one dollar or one naira.
His comments come as political discussions surrounding the 2027 election continue to intensify, with Nigerians closely following statements from politicians, religious leaders and other influential voices about the next electoral cycle.
