Emmanuel Annor scored against his former club, Nations FC, on Sunday as Medeama SC defeated the MTN FA Cup holders to win the 2026 Champion of Champions trophy at the TnA Stadium.The annual fixture, contested between the previous season's Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup winners, served as a curtain-raiser for the new domestic campaign.The match also provided valuable preparation for both sides as they prepare to represent Ghana in African club competitions.Medeama, the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, dominated possession for much of the opening period and created several opportunities inside the first 15 minutes.Their pressure eventually paid off in the 28th minute when they were awarded a penalty. Defender Fatawu Sulemana stepped up and converted the spot-kick to give the Yellow and Mauves the lead.
