TST Marketing Agency CEO Naftal Nghishekwa has outlined a sustainable business blueprint that emphasises corporate structure, financial discipline, and prioritising employees over mere sales.
He urges Namibian entrepreneurs to view their workforce as foundational assets and combine operational resilience with purposeful marketing to achieve lasting growth
“To all business owners, whether you run a small business or a big corporation, structure matters, financial discipline matters, and your employees must always be a priority,” said Nghishekwa.
According to Nghishekwa, sustainable growth does not happen by accident. It requires proper planning, accountability, responsible financial management, and a genuine commitment to the people who help build the business.
“A business can only grow sustainably when there is proper planning, accountability, responsible financial management, and a genuine commitment to the people who help build it,” said Nghishekwa.
He also cautioned entrepreneurs against treating staff poorly, reminding them that employees are part of a business’s foundation, not just an expense on the balance sheet.
Nghishekwa said marketers have the privilege of telling stories, building brands and creating memorable experiences. Beyond that, however, there is a deeper call.
“Beyond campaigns and numbers, there is a deeper purpose to add value and leave something meaningful behind,” said Nghishekwa.
He also said that, to him, marketing has never been only about selling a product or promoting a brand, but about people, connection, creativity, and purpose. In addition, Nghishekwa said he believes every talent we are given is a responsibility; God gives it as a gift, but it is up to us to use those gifts to create opportunities, solve problems, and make an impact in the lives of others.
Nghishekwa said that, reflecting on his journey, he learned that success is not achieved by talent alone; it requires faith, discipline, resilience and the willingness to keep going even when the road is difficult. –kulaumonendapandula@gmail.com
