GAF sets September 28–30 for cadet documentation, body selection

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has scheduled a three-day Documentation and Body Selection exercise for qualified applicants under its 2026/2027 Enlistment Exercise, running from September 28 to 30, 2026.

The exercise comes after online applications were closed on September 23, and will take place at designated centres in the Northern and Southern sectors.

In the Northern Sector, the exercise will be held at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi, for potential Army, Navy and Air Force cadets.

Applicants in the Southern Sector, will report to different venues depending on the cadet category they applied for.

Potential Army cadets are to report to the Nicholson Stadium, while potential Navy and Air Force cadets are to report to the Air Force Base in Accra.

GAF said qualified applicants will be contacted via text message with information on their designated centres and reporting instructions, and are expected to follow the instructions provided upon receiving the notification.

The exercise marks the next stage of the enlistment process following the completion of the online application phase.
