Church Canvasses Divine Direction For Southern Kaduna, North

The Throneroom Trust Ministry, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, has organised special prayers for Southern Kaduna ahead of the 2027 general elections, seeking divine direction for the people, peaceful electoral participation and lasting stability in the region.

The prayers formed part of activities at the ongoing 22nd International Prophetic Prayer Conference organised by the ministry, which also featured intercessions for Northern Nigeria and the strengthening of traditional institutions.

During the special session dedicated to the rededication and prayers for traditional rulers and the land, the Vision Pioneer of Throneroom Trust Ministry, Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, called on Christian traditional rulers to use their positions to establish enduring legacies of faith.

Kure urged the royal fathers to build a lasting foundation for God’s work through their successors, stressing the need for leadership that would preserve their spiritual values beyond their reign.

He also prayed for God to ease the burdens and responsibilities carried by traditional rulers across Northern Nigeria, particularly their efforts to secure peace and stability in their communities.

Responding on behalf of the Northern Christian Traditional Leaders Forum, its Vice Chairman, the Kpop Gwong, Col. Paul Zakka Nyom (rtd.), thanked Kure for inviting the traditional rulers and praying for them and the restoration of peace across the region.

Nyom reminded his colleagues that they must continually see themselves as servants of God while administering their respective kingdoms, urging them to demonstrate humility, responsibility and commitment to the welfare of their subjects.

The traditional rulers, in their response, pledged to remain committed to their responsibilities and provide purposeful leadership in their respective communities.

The session also featured special prayers for Southern Kaduna, seeking God’s intervention in the affairs of the region, divine wisdom for its people ahead of the 2027 general elections and a peaceful electoral process.
